OTC (Over The Counter)

A type of trade where crypto currencies and assets can be interchanged, without the use of a traditional exchange platform that is customary in most transactions. These types of trades do not rely on the use of intermediaries, and usually do not concur transaction fees typical to most exchanges, with trades happening directly between buyer and seller. They also lack the usual trade volume limits of normal transactions, which makes this type of trade faster and less prone to regulation, and usually involves an exchange of a crypto currency for a fiat currency in large quantities.
