IP (Intellectual Property)
An innovation that is made possible through a person’s creativity or intellect, which said person has the rights to own, manage and control through the usage of copyrights and patents. There are many concerns in crypto, about IP, and to what extent intellectual property applies to NFTs, as some NFTs contain patented and copyrighted properties, which can be sold as tradable assets, but do not guarantee the NFT holders right to freely use said patented properties on the token.
