Accredited Investors
An investor with special status and privileges given to them by the rules and conditions of financial regulation institutions. Accredited investors have the ability to invest in start – up companies, and early stage crypto currencies that are not registered with the SEC. In order to become an accredited investor, one must make $200,000 ($300,000 with a spouse) for two straight years, and have a net worth of over $1,000,000.
